Become a Vendor

If you are interested in becoming a Faribault Farmers’ Market vendor, contact us by email and we’ll send you an application: faribaultmarketmanager@gmail.com

You may also send a message and request an application (using Facebook messenger) through our Facebook page.

Requirements for being a vendor are listed below.

Requirements:

Vendors must live within a 15 mile radius of Faribault. Sometimes exceptions are made as to the miles restriction if the vendor is from Rice County. Check with the market manager.

All produce must be grown by the vendor and it must be locally grown – meaning 15 mile radius of Faribault. We do not allow produce that has been procured from an outside source (examples: a produce auction or another grower) to be sold at our market.

Any vendor who wishes to sell baked goods or canned goods must have a MN Cottage Food license and comply with all Cottage Food Law. For information about getting a license, see: mda.state.mn.us/food-feed/cottage-food-law-guidance

We do not allow the sale of prepared food. Only foods approved by Cottage Law are allowed.

Any vendor selling fresh eggs must follow the MDA (Minnesota Dept. of Agriculture) guidelines.

Current vendor status:

We are accepting applications now for the 2025 season, which starts on Saturday, June 7. Applications will be reviewed and new vendors will be notified via email by the end of April.

So, contact us! We’d love to have you join us.
